Francis Ngannou has requested that the courts "sanction" his battle against Tyson Fury. In a 10-round boxing bout held in Saudi Arabia over the weekend, the former UFC heavyweight champion faced off against Fury. Ngannou knocked down the British boxer with a left hook in his professional debut, but Fury won when the judges disclosed their scores. With scores of 95-94 for Ngannou and 96-93 and 95-94 for Fury, respectively, two judges declared the bout over. But after the match, the French-Cameroonian mixed martial artist criticized the judges' choice on his YouTube channel.

In the video, he stated, "I'm sure I won that fight, but what happened last night didn't surprise me." "I was aware that it would have occurred. .. I consider it unfortunate for boxing. I find it unfortunate for this sport. "Those judges, or anyone else, ought to be punished, in my opinion. I'm curious as to why the judges render such judgments. Ngannou went on to demand that Fury give it another go in the ring. "I believe Tyson will square off against Oleksandr Usyk. I think we're going to run this back, but I'm not sure when precisely we'll be able to conduct the rematch," he said.
"I still have several MMA fights in the meantime. I may join the PFL, compete in a few matches, and then return to boxing. Ngannou wasn't the only person to criticize the contentious split ruling. A user on X stated, "I believed Ngannou had won the fight while I was ringside. Though it was tight, he was the one who initiated more aggression, delivered harder blows, and was knocked down. After having so much difficulty facing a fighter who has never boxed before, Fury deserved to lose. Too much time spent filming Netflix specials and, I assume, not enough time spent working out. Poor Francis." As someone else stated:
"I believe that these referees favored Tyson Fury in order to set up the Usyk match. How in the world did Francis Ngannou not win this fight even after scoring a knockdown?" Francis performed admirably during his first boxing match. I believe he was defrauded. What is a divided decision? Although many would undoubtedly watch a rematch, don't count on it happening anytime soon. After his arduous training camp, Fury declared, according to the Independent, that he wanted to go home and spend time with his family. It is quite probable that the professional boxer won't step back into the ring until 2024.
