For long the military in Nigeria has seen themselves as being Just a little above the law.

At a time they forced themselves on the nation as the de-factor rulers and today many right thinking Nigerians still believe they are the foundations of the nation's woes.

The encounter between Minister of the federal republic of Nigeria Nyeson Wike and Lt. Yerrima of the Nigeria naval forces again brought to the fore the lazy impression of some military officers that they are a superior being.

Which is true but not under questionable circumstances like protecting a purportedly illegal land allocation.

Land allocation administration in Abuja falls under the purview of the federal capital Territory Minister.

So it is not out place for him to personally oversee the evacuation order in this instance even though officers of the Nigerian navy command should have been a lot better addressed.

But the Minister was clearly frustrated by the antics of the military bigwigs who use the influence of the military to cover their frauds and there are plenty of it in Nigeria.

However because of a few bad eggs the military should not be subjected to any form of disrepute. They gallantly stand in for the nation when others cannot. 

It is unethical to impose millitary might in civil matters because that's the jurisdiction of the civilians and military officers must accept the route of judicious undertakings.

If not clashes like this would be inevitable. 

Overall humility has not been Nigerians best characteristic and everyone seeks for ways by which he can arrogantly oppress his fellow Nigerian.

A reason in my own opinion many join the military and not really because of that desire to serve the nation 

Every region has its own security challenges and one mistake people incharge of our security architecture are making to bring public officers to serve in areas where they can be indifference to the local people and cannot be held responsible for their actions easily. 

There has been a lot of complaints about police DPOS in the southwestern states whose conducts have been questionable when suspects are people of northern extraction.

DPOS are always very reluctant to charge their cases to the law court instead they would release him on bail categorizing his offense which could be attempted murder or manslaughter as assault.

This gives the culprit impetus to commit crimes again.

Serving among people not of his own tribe removed the passion that he needs to do his job well.

Nigerians are very tribal  and security in their localities should be only in their hands.

If we fail to localize security networks we may find it difficult to difine the necessary security solutions for the entire nation. 

Sacrifice is very important to the Lord and He respects individuals on the basis of their sacrifices.

He has his ideas of how we should live our lives and He wants it dedicated to him through sacrificial living.

Marriage is one area of our lives that He expects to show a lot of sacrifices.

For marriages to succeed couples must make a lot of sacrifices and it'll depends on how much you want your marriage to succeed because the whole essence of marital relationships are sacrificial.

You firstly sacrificed your freedom and a lot of your rights to embrace your spouse because the Bible demands that you live in oneness and in all humility.

All these pay you in the service of your God.

These basic sacrifices lead you into greater sacrifice in your relationship with the almighty God. You see yourself only in obedience to the word of God in your marriage.

God asks men to love their wives and women to respect their husbands because these what is difficult for them to do but they are not doing because of their spouse but because of their obedience to God's word.

Second reason why a marriage may collapse is when spouses don't want to obey God.

God created the institution of marriage and it is for the purpose to build people's character to maturity in order that man may fulfill destiny.

God's ultimate purpose for man is that he may fulfill destiny and be rewarded for it.

But man don't want to obey God and they come up with different kinds of reason to live a life of disobedience.

Marriage is obedience to God's words so when you marry because of your spouse marriage does not have the meaning it ought to have like when you marry because of God.

First of all you must know God and be ready to obey him according to his words in the Bible.

Your spouse does not make the laws about fornication for example so when you fornicate you must know that you sin against God and not your spouse because your spouse may not know and when he or she knows he needn't take the laws into his hands but must allow God to do justice.

But because people don't know God nor accept his words for his words so they do their will then marriage collapse and trauma sets in.

Sometimes God wants to use your spouse to sharpen your life.

He wants to use your spouse to humble you because your pride will not allow you to fulfill the destiny prepared for you by God.

Many need to be humble before they can be useful in the hands of God and it's their spouse God is going to use.

That's why when your spouse is acting anyhow inquire from God what to do and you will be surprised what God will say.

God told Abraham when he had problems with Sarah, to chase away the bond woman and her son.

It was very hard for Abraham. If anyone told you the easy way out of your problems then it's not God's word.

You only see pride in the lives of others never in our own lives.

There's nothing that can destroy a man more than pride.

God cannot have anything to do with a proud man or woman.

Pride destroy marriage faster than even fornication.

The word of God says humble yourself under the mighty hands of God and in due time He will lift you up but people don't  really want to obey and their marriages collapse.

God also said 'husbands love your wives and wives respect your husbands' but people don't want to obey.

Disobedience to the word of God makes marriages collapse and bring immeasurable trauma. 

When spouses want multiple partners as against just one that marriages can take that marriage will come under stress and it may collapse.

Human beings are naturally not faithful, an ingredient marriages néed for sustainance but they hide under different kinds of pretense to access other partners.

Many will point to the example that others are doing it with success that is managing multiple relationships at the same time which of course is not true but are overridden by their emotional desires.

Collapse may not necessarily be physical or socially but emotionally or loyally or any other form.

Sometimes spouses deceive themselves and claim they are being honest and that they are parting ways with mutual understanding but it is a collapse.

They are parting ways to go into another relationship which is the primary reason they are no more interested in their relationships.

If you don't want another partner when you have problems with one you wouldn't get involved with another person. And you find a way to work things out.

No amount of money can make a spouse faithful. Unless he or she can overcomes that desire for multiple sexual partners. 

When spouses meet they know that their partner is not going to be perfect but after a while they begin to complain about this imperfections which is actually hypocritical everyone has his or her own faults but expects to get what he or she cannot give. 

So the desire for multiple sexual partners is what the devil is capitalizing upon to bring a marriage to collapse.

Many don't know really or do not want to accept it but that is the truth.

So if you really don't want a marriage collapse you must overcome the desires for multiple sexual partners. Marriage collapses brings a lot of trauma.

Teni Otedola otherwise known as DJ Cuppy has made a lot hue and cry over the media in recent times about her desire for a reasonable relationship that could lead her to the altars.

And she must begin to put her purpose and ambition in life in the hands of her maker.

The Dangote refinery is to become the biggest refinery in the world when its capacity is enlarged.

In a parley with the press the owner of Dangote refinery Alh. Aliko Dangote who is also regarded as Africa's richest man has announced an intention to enlarge the capacity of the Dangote refinery from its present capacity to refine 650 barrels of crude oil per day to a capacity of 1.4 million barrels of crude oil per day.

Alh Dangote also said he'll sell ten percent of the company to finance the project.

When it is completed it will be the largest refinery in the world surpassing the Jamnagar refinery in Gujarat, India. The Jamnagar refinery which has a capacity to refine 1.250 million barrels of crude oil per day is presently the largest in the world.

The Dangote refinery when completed will create 50000 more jobs.

This Dangote's initiative is in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's economic desire to improve the Nigerian economy by creating more jobs and change the country's fortune by exporting finished products rather than exporting Nigeria's raw materials and decrease Nigeria's over dependence on foreign exchange. 

The Nigerian International, Alex Iwobi has set a Nigerian record as the first Nigerian professional footballer to play 300 EPL matches in the match he started for Fulham fc today at the St. James Park.

Iwobi began his football career at Arsenal in 2004 and later signed a professional contract with them in October 2015 and appeared 100 times for Arsenal, scoring 11 goals before he got a transfer to Everton in 2019.
