Leading a group of former football players at Sir Alex Ferguson's wife Cathy's funeral is David Beckham.

On Monday, October 16, a number of football players, including football legend David Beckham, traveled to Glasgow, Scotland to attend the funeral of Lady Cathy Ferguson, the late wife of former Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson. On Monday morning, Lady Cathy's service took place in St Andrew's Cathedral. Leading a group of former football players at Sir Alex Ferguson's wife Cathy's funeral is David Beckham. At the age of 84, she died earlier this month. Alongside Beckham, 48, there were other Manchester United legends such as Darren Fletcher, 39, Ji-Sung Park, 42, Michael Carrick, 42, Bryan Robson, 66, and Steve Bruce, 62.

Among those in attendance were Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers, 50, former Rangers assistant Archie Knox, 76, and Scotland icon Kenny Dalglish, 72. After his late wife's coffin was removed from the church, Sir Alex shook hands with Canon Andrew McKenzie, the minister.
