Balogun, a striker who many believe has the potential to be a superstar, was qualified to represent both Nigeria and the United Kingdom. Folarin Balogun has been persuaded by the United States to abandon England and represent his nation.

At the age of seven, he enrolled in Arsenal's academy in 2008. He went on to represent England at the under-17, under-18, under-20, and under-21 levels. Throughout his 13 U-21 team appearances, he netted seven goals. On loan to Reims FC in Ligue One, the 21-year-old has scored 15 goals this season and is predicted to develop into a premier player.
