ONLY FIVE COUNTRIES HAVE WON THE FIBA WOMEN’S AFROBASKET TITLE

Nigeria's D'Tigeresses have won the FIBA Afrobasket competition seven times and have dominated the competition since 2017 to date, but have only won the competition the same number of times next to Senegal.

Senegal practically dominated the competition in its early stages and won it a record 11 times. Here are the number of countries that have been champions.

 

1. Senegal 11 titles 

2. Nigeria 7 titles 

3. Congo DR. 3 titles 

4.Angola-2 titles.

5. Mali. 1-title.
