TINUBU RETAINS KYARI AS NNPC CEO

President Tinubu appoints the management team and board of NNPC.

President Bola Tinubu has authorized the nomination of a new Board and Management team for the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), effective December 1, 2023, by Section 59 (2) of the Petroleum Industry Act, 2021:

Mele

(1) Mallam Mele Kolo Kyari, Group Chief Executive Officer; (2) Chief Pius Akinyelure, Non-Executive Board Chairman

Three Non-Executive Directors: Mr. Musa Tumsa; Four Non-Executive Directors: Mr. Ghali Muhammad; Five Non-Executive Directors: Prof. Mustapha Aliyu; Six Non-Executive Directors: Mr. David Ogbodo; Seven Non-Executive Directors: Ms. Eunice Thomas

 

 Additionally, the nomination of two Permanent Secretaries was authorized by President Tinubu:

(8) Mr. Okokon Ekanem Udo, Federal Ministry of Finance's Permanent Secretary

 (9) Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Petroleum, Amb. Gabriel Aduda
