Abubakar Atiku is a political heavyweight in the mold of Obafemi Awolowo, who founded the UPN. Nnamdi Azikwe had the NCNC Sardauna of Sokoto, left NPC as a legacy, and Bola Ahmed Tinubu has the APC, but Atiku is yet to have a legacy like the ones these ones left behind.
All of them created a platform strong enough to produce the chief executive officer of the federation.
And in the case of Bola Ahmed Tinubu, he became a chief executive officer of Nigeria using the platform he created, the former Turaki Waziri of Adamawa had no lagacy like this one nor has he ever been a chief executive officer of the nation but this is his firsttime to lead an attempt at creating a platform. He never really seemed to have a vision like this in the past, preferring other people's platforms.
He just wanted to be president, and he is leaving PDP with a reputation as probably the nation's most corrupt politician, as Obasanjo described him in his memoir. But with the role he is about to play in ADC, the former vice president could leave a legacy of a party with which some could aspire to the highest seat in the nation in the future.
