President Buhari died today at a London hospital. His death was announced by his family. Burial arrangements will be announced later.

Otun Olubadan Oba Sen. Adewolu Rashidi Ladoja is the next in line to be crowned the new Olubadan of Ibadan land after the demise of former Olubadan Kabiyesi Oba Owolabi Olukulehin.

Olakulehin died early on Monday morning, a day after celebrating his ninetieth birthday. And was planning his one year on the throne for Saturday before the news of his demise.

Eighty-year-old former Oyo state governor Ladoja was born in September 1944 and is a successful businessman and politician.

The date of his installation will be announced by the governor of Oyo State. And he will be the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
