HAMAS AND ISRAEL FULFILLING PROPHESY ?

After Israel was attacked by land, sea, and air, the whole world looked on in terror. The terrorist group Hamas carried out an unexpected assault on civilian targets. Both in Israel and Gaza, the death toll is rising. The day after the attack started, Laurie stated during a sermon, "You're seeing Bible prophecy fulfilled in your lifetime, in real-time, before your very eyes." Pastor Greg Laurie Discusses the Attack on Israel's Biblical Significance In his sermon, Laurie reminded his audience that the current attack on Israel happened close to the anniversary of the Yom Kipper War, which took place in 1973 and involved "attacks by Egypt, Syria, and others on Israel."

He continued by stating that this attack was not like the one that occurred fifty years ago. Numerous individuals were abducted and killed. Additionally, they were employing techniques that resembled those of ISIS. "They specifically targeted young women, young children," Laurie continued. Laurie wrote, "They went door to door, home to home, looking for the young and the elderly." The incident was carried out by the terrorist group Hamas, which is purportedly supported by Iran. Laurie said, "We stand by the Palestinian fires until the liberation of Palestine in Jerusalem is complete." An Iranian politician praised the assaults.

Joe Biden

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a video speech to the nation on Sunday, as well as the rest of the globe. "I demand that Israel's citizenry follow the army's and Home Front Command's orders to the letter. Netanyahu declared, "We are at war, and we will prevail." Albert Mohler, the president of Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, attacked the Biden administration for what he saw as its facilitation of the onslaught on Israel. Five American captives were freed in exchange for the Biden administration's "unfrozen $6 billion of Iranian assets." Laurie and Mohler both think that at least some of the money was utilized to assist in financing the attack. Laurie said, "What a stupid move that is."

"How foolish it is to provide any financial support to this country that actively supports terrorism worldwide." The Biden administration asserts that Iran has not yet been granted access to the unfrozen monies and disputes the existence of any proof linking Iran to the financing of the Hamas attack. However, Laurie quoted another Iranian leader, “Is it possible for us to observe a post-American world in the context of Zionism?" "The regime that occupies Jerusalem must be wiped off the map," he said. Laurie summed up, saying, "It's interesting how it always comes back to Jerusalem." "Is the terrorist group Hamas, which receives funding from Iran, attacking Israel in fulfillment of Bible prophecy?" Laurie shared a video of his sermon with it. "I respond to that here. Additionally, as the Bible instructs, we "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem." [Psalm 122:6] Come along with me

According to Laurie, the Bible "predicted the end times would revolve around Jerusalem" thousands of years ago. For those who study Bible prophecy, here is where things become fascinating, he added. The Bible predicts that Israel will be dispersed and then reassembled in the end times. This has taken place. "The gathering of the nation of Israel in their homeland is the sign that sets the prophetic clock ticking," Laurie said, recollecting that "In 1948, Israel became a nation" following the Holocaust, which claimed the lives of six million Jews.

Laurie continued by citing Ezekiel 37 and 38, whereby it is prophesied that Israel will be attacked “from her north,” or “Magog.” This adversary, Magog, is thought by many Bible scholars to be modern-day Russia. The Bible also describes Magog's ally, Persia, which is the modern-day equivalent of Iran. Laurie stated, "The Iranians and Russians have developed a special connection only recently." "Put on your seatbelt if you wake up in the morning and see this headline: 'Russia Attacks Israel,'" Laurie advised. "You're witnessing the fulfillment of Bible prophecy in front of your very eyes, right now, during your lifetime." "So What Should We Do Now?" inquires Laurie. Though tragedy surrounded them, Laurie gave them hope.

"Look up because your redemption is near when you see these things begin to happen," said Jesus. That is what we must be doing, then. gazing upward. Laurie urged God's people to pray, even as he described the attack as "an act of pure evil and Israel has every right to defend herself." "The Bible prophesies that the Jewish people would return to their country, and they have done so. "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem," the Bible instructs us (Ps. 122:6). "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: May those who love you be secure," reads Psalm 122:6. Using this passage, Laurie urged his followers and Christians worldwide to join him in prayer for Jerusalem.

Laurie then gave specific points to pray over the land: that “they arrive at some kind of peace,” “this horrific terrorism stops,” and “they’re [Israel] able to get their hostages back.

Laurie said, "Pray for Israel's inhabitants and the several international tour groups who are present. "May God grant their Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, protection and wisdom." Laurie realized that "that's not going to replace the hundreds of lives that were lost in this unprecedented attack." Still, he led the church in prayer and kept citing the Bible. "We pray now for the peace of Jerusalem, Father, as you have instructed us to do. In accordance with what your prophecy foretold, they are your people, the Jewish people, whom you have regathered in the land, he declared.

And now we see them being attacked, Lord. They've been called "the apple of your eye" by you. Laurie went on, "And you've said that you would punish those who curse them and reward those who bless them. "We ask that you keep the country of Israel under your guard. Give her leaders insight. Assist them in regaining their prisoners. Help put an end to this madness. And now take action in that area of our globe.
