Governor Aiyedatiwa of itOndo is expected to be declared as the winner of the 2024 gubernatorial election in Ondo. In the ruling expected on Wednesday the tribunal' judgment is being expected.

Teni Otedola otherwise known as DJ Cuppy has made a lot hue and cry over the media in recent times about her desire for a reasonable relationship that could lead her to the altars.

But at 32 she's not at at all too old to be single.

Yes she's very eligible dashing and young, particularly when her junior sister just got married and is also a heiress to Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola it's not a bad idea to expect her to have a steady suitor.

DJ Cuppy who is a maverick and a star has a profile that could be really intimidating and even if you look back at her previous relationships or rumored relationships with men like Anthony Joshua or Ryan Taylor or Victor Anichebe. Any man may have to consider his media presence before considering a relationship.

She's not likely to get a partner as easily as her sister Teni who allowed herself and her spouse to grow into the stature of an Otedola couple and should therefore stop worrying about her eligibility.

She should attend the Papa Adeboye program because she needs to develop a steady relationship with her maker. And not just because of her relationships challenges alone.

And she must begin to put her purpose and ambition in life in the hands of her maker.

She had wisely conducted herself up to this time and a deeper relationship with God will certainly not be a bad idea.

There are a lot of other young ladies like her who think money can buy all things, genuine relationships are priceless.

For some their patience will be tested beyond the limits.

The Dangote refinery is to become the biggest refinery in the world when its capacity is enlarged.

In a parley with the press the owner of Dangote refinery Alh. Aliko Dangote who is also regarded as Africa's richest man has announced an intention to enlarge the capacity of the Dangote refinery from its present capacity to refine 650 barrels of crude oil per day to a capacity of 1.4 million barrels of crude oil per day.

Alh Dangote also said he'll sell ten percent of the company to finance the project.

When it is completed it will be the largest refinery in the world surpassing the Jamnagar refinery in Gujarat, India. The Jamnagar refinery which has a capacity to refine 1.250 million barrels of crude oil per day is presently the largest in the world.

The Dangote refinery when completed will create 50000 more jobs.

This Dangote's initiative is in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's economic desire to improve the Nigerian economy by creating more jobs and change the country's fortune by exporting finished products rather than exporting Nigeria's raw materials and decrease Nigeria's over dependence on foreign exchange.

ALEX IWOBI HAS PLAYED HIS 300 EPL MATCHES

The Nigerian International, Alex Iwobi has set a Nigerian record as the first Nigerian professional footballer to play 300 EPL matches in the match he started for Fulham fc today at the St. James Park.

Iwobi began his football career at Arsenal in 2004 and later signed a professional contract with them in October 2015 and appeared 100 times for Arsenal, scoring 11 goals before he got a transfer to Everton in 2019.

He played 123 times for Everton and scored 6 goals before he made a move to Fulham where he presently played. In all he has scored 32 goals in his 300 EPL appearances.

He also plays for the Super Eagles of Nigeria where he has appeared 89 times and scored 10 goals.

He won one FA cup with the gunners and a community shield.

Arsenal had to dig deep late on Sunday evening to earn all the points as Gunners quest to win the EPL was again slipping through their fingers when they conceded a goal against the run of play in the first half of their match at the Saint James's Park.

Again Woltesmade find himself freely  heading home a goal from a corner kick in the 34th minute after Arsenal had totally dominated proceedings and had left no one in doubts that they intended to make the most of EPL slips by league leaders and last year's champions Liverpool who slipped to defeat late at Crystal Palace on Saturday.

Arsenal had not won any major trophy for up to five years and are desperate to prove their potential after they had brought in eight additional signings during the summer transfer window to bolster their ranks in their bid to win something and have suddenly found themselves slipping down to five points gap behind Liverpool.

They had been second for three consecutive years while Man City and Liverpool had been champions on the three occasions and are now under pressure to prove their champions credentials.

They began the match dictating proceedings and pressing the Toons high in their box and calling Pope to make saves time and time again and even had Leandro Trossard hitting the woodwork.

Until Woltesmode goal sent the Toons fan to a rancors jubilation and they held on to their lead until the 84th minute after Arsenal had made up to twenty attempts at goal.

Spainish midfielder finally equalized for the Gunners from a Rice assist and late in injury time Brazilian defender Gabriel headed home yet again from an Odegaard corner to hand all the points to the Gunners and brought them back to the second place two points behind league leaders Liverpool.

Most Super Eagles players's dont have their careers reaching an expected outcome.

Recently iconic Portuguese striker Ronaldo played in a World Cup qualifier for Portugal banging in goals yet he had celebrated his fortieth birthday.

The Real Madrid legend is still planning to be at the World Cup in 2026 but not so for Nigerian players many of whom do not play at all at any higher level and yet they are satisfied to retire.

Messi, and many players from the Latin American countries played at the highest level of a football career and are still disciplined enough to play for a very long time before they retire. Playing at 40 years.

For Nigerian players,it seems as soon as they make a little success they begin to struggle with a lifestyle of pleasure and their career dwindles.

Nigerian fans expect much more from the league of foreign based players of Nigerian origin playing abroad but are left disappointed.

A typical example is Kelechi Iheanacho who was named the tournament's best player and the tournament second highest goalscorer of the 2013 under-17 World Cup and had shown great promise in the colours of Man. City and Leicester city, commanding the second highest price tag after Mohamed Salah for any African player at that time when he left Man. City for Leicester for 25 million pounds.

Only recent Kelechi ended a loan spell at Middlesbrough scoring one goal in eleven matches for the championship club side and had to move to Celtic at just 28 years old on a one year deal.

Surely there's a reason for Nigerian players to show more discipline in their careers.
