Iran ardently supports Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis with everything to make them persistent in their attacks on Israel.

And they consistently embark on the development of a nuclear program which will take the whole world to convince Israel that it isn't for nuclear bomb development or enrichment and that they would not use it to attack Israel.

Since Oct. 7th, when Hamas undertook a surprise attack on Israel and killed 1195 people, most of whom were civilians, there has not been peace in Gaza.  Israel wants the 251 people taken hostage released, regardless of whether they are alive or dead.

For reasons best known to them, Hamas has prolonged the process of releasing the hostages. A decision that has led Israel to engage in a devastating war against Hamas and the Gaza Strip. Houthis and Hezbollah are also drawn into the war, with Iran allegedly accused of being their backers.

Invariably, Iran had to send missiles into Israel when Israel did not heed Iran's warnings that Israel should stop the bombing of Gaza, as it affects the civilian population.  Israel feels Iran was more interested in the Hamas warriors hiding behind the civilians than the civilians themselves.

The series of actions that followed led invariably to the open confrontation that is now engulfing the Middle East presently because Iran's development of the enrichment plant to process its nuclear weapons has become a treat according to Israel, to their very existence and they therefore embarked on a comprehensive bombing of Iran to destroy the areas the nuclear factories are located and Iran has since retaliated which has now led to an open confrontation that may see other nations join the conflict.

Why is Iran developing nuclear weapons at this point, and why do they want to annihilate Israel?

Some people think that behind all these imbroglios is a religious undertaking to wipe out any trace of evidence or belief about Jesus as the messiah.

Otherwise, why is it such a problem for them to live side by side in peace in that area?

We constantly need to improve the health of our hearts regularly because a healthy heart is a healthy body.

We can't afford to wait until there's a problem before we start running up and down. If we make it a habit to pay attention to our hearts, we will lessen the burden of heart issues.

The first thing is to exercise at least 20 minutes a day. It shouldn't be too difficult to walk briskly around our house for 20 minutes. This will help to free our veins and help the heart to work more freely with fewer burdens. The second thing is to eat a healthy diet.

To keep our hearts healthy, the second thing we need to do is we must eat fruits, vegetables, whole grains, nuts, plus healthy fats like fatty fish. We need a well-balanced and nutritious diet.

These will go a long way to keep our hearts healthy. The third step is to do regular check ups on our blood pressure and our cholesterol levels.

When they are high, they affect the health of the heart, and we need not allow it to get to this level before we act, but keep it in check by taking medication and abiding by the advice of health professionals.

Keeping your blood levels in control reduces the heart from being belaboured and keeps the cholesterol level low. These will protect your arteries from bursting or from damage.

Abstain from smoking and alcohol intake because they contribute immensely to the damage to the health of health.

They cause inflammation of the arteries and can raise blood pressure.

Live a stress-free lifestyle and take good rest by sleeping adequately and undertaking leisure activities.

Former Manchester United and Three Lions Captain Sir David Beckham has been knighted by King Charles 3rd at a ceremony on Saturday to mark the king's birthday.  It was in honour of his outstanding contributions to sport and charity.

Not a stranger to controversies, Comrade Senator Oshiomole has given his side of the story in the Airport saga between him and the staffers of Airpeace airline on Thursday morning. 

Oshiomole is being accused by Airpeace staff of conduct unbecoming of a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and a former governor of Edo State.  They claimed he got to the airport late and insisted on boarding his flight, which is against the rules, which is that whoever got to the airport late would not board and would not travel at that time, but would have to make another arrangement.

But Senator Oshiomole insisted that he came on time and had been checked-in previously online but that the airline staff were insisting on a 40 minutes boarding time before departure instead of the common boarding time of 30 minutes before departure and that they resell the flight tickets of those who failed those 10 minutes at an exorbitant price to those who can pay and that the staff tried to cover up by inviting him to be given a privileged treatment which he rejected because many others were suffering the same fate like himself.

He claimed that people accused the government of everything that happened, whereas the staff of an airline caused this one.  He said he can't stand around and watch people denigrate the government he suffered so much to bring to power. He said it was for the reason of the government that he was maliciously removed as the chairman of the APC. And that he is an Asiwaju supporter, and he could not leave the people suffering injustice at the airport because he has the privilege to do so.

But in a sharp refutation, the airline has accused Senator Oshiomole of lying and claimed they had to depart on time, and they could not succumb to the privilege the Senator was asking for, as they operate on timely schedules. 

Yellowstone actor Kelvin Costner has had his name used to scam people. The writer, actor, and director of Horizon, an American saga, had to put up a disclaimer to the effect that scamming is not his line of business. 

  An Illinois woman was scammed out of up to $62000 by someone pretending to be Kelvin Costiner on Telegraph by offering her business deals and posing as a celebrity. 

The police have confirmed that the woman was involved in the latest scamming procedure after she was allegedly and flirtatiously chatted up by someone posing as the celebrity Yellowstone actor to swindle her in cryptocurrency and gift cards, and unsurprisingly, such money cannot be traced.

Innocent people are being defrauded of their hard-earned money daily by a ring of scammers using the profiles of celebrities.

Therefore, people have been warned to be vigilant and not fall into such cheap traps. While Costiner was not involved in the scam, he's not the only celebrity whose profile has been used in the scam to swindle the unwary public.

Costner has been in the news recently in more positive ventures, having withdrawn from the Yellowstone series and now working on the continuation of his new project, the 'Horizon: An American saga', and he has not been known to be a scammer. 

The most successful Nigerian singing duet, the sensational Afrobeat group, the P-SQUARE, must listen to their fans to bury the hatchet and come to the reconciliatory table because of their fans.

They have been embroiled in a quarrel that doesn't seem to be coming to an end.  And every day the matter seems to be getting worse and recently, Afrobeat legend DBanj urged well-meaning Nigerians to intervene.

Former Governor of Kwara State, Senator Bukola Saraki, visited Oyo State on Monday to meet with Governor Seyi Makinde to discuss the repair of the PDP's structure.  He came with another member of the reconciliation committee of the party, former governor of Gombe state, Ibrahim Dankwambo.

PDP is a party that developed along the lines of the old NPC and the NPN.  Saraki's father was one of the most influential members of the NPN, where he became the Senate leader. These parties were founded to promote Fulani hegemony over the nation.

That was the agenda of the founders of Nigeria, the British colonial masters, and that is for reasons best known to them.

Over the years, their sympathizers began to dwindle mainly because Nigeria continued to regress under their watch and that of their protégés.  Ironically, a minority group has been saddled with the Herculean task of leading Nigeria, and they have a penchant for picking the worst among them to lead so that they'll be in control of him to manipulate him.

One thing, though, by sharing enrichment, they have managed to win followers all around the nation.

Since politics is for the development of the nation and the people of the nation, they have their patronage.

The Fulanis have a tool with which they strengthen themselves in leadership in Nigeria, and that is the 'propagation of Islam'.

On the other hand, a progressive view that broadly disagrees with the idea that a tribe will determine the leadership of the nation under any circumstance is also being championed by the Yorubas, and part of their belief is that they, too, can rule Nigeria.

Their political platform now is the APC, which is at the helm of affairs presently in Nigeria.  The conservative elements find it difficult to cope with a government that doesn't give power to the Fulanis as a right they feel they have to return to power or lose all relevance, and their champions, Atiku and El-Rufai, are searching for a platform to use for their move against the APC.

Saraki's mission is to recreate PDP as a worthy platform attractive enough to keep the interests of the conservatives.

Who are the progressives? We must wait to find out.

Atiku and El-Rufai seem to be running out of time in the political game of 2027 as PDP governors decamp to the ruling party day after day.

What's their motivation for harboring a presidential ambition?

They claimed that the present government's poor implementation of its economic policies and Tinubu's poor reputation are the factors motivating them to contest for the presidency.

However, it's not a hidden fact that the Fulanis believe they have a right to always lead Nigeria, but this is not the case now, nor are they in control as they usually are. Additionally, they have exhibited a personality issue with Tinubu, which they feel would be better settled at the 2027 polls.

So far, it is getting very difficult by the day for them to put up a strong structure to fight the president.

They are tinkering with different ideas, though, and one of those ideas is a Muslim-Fulani- northerner/ Muslim-Fulani-northerner ticket to have a ticket strong enough to defeat the Tinubu/Shetima ticket. And there is a growing idea within the camp of the coalition that an Atiku/El-Rufai ticket might just do the trick.

Even when it is looking like an impossible task, what with the members of the other political parties decamping every day to the ruling party.
