The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has named acting chairman Zacch Adelabu, President Bola Tinubu's special revenue advisor.

In order to cover the vacancy left by the retirement leave of the departing chairman of the commission, Mohammed Nami, whose term expires in December 2023, Adedeji, who is 33, was requested to be former governor Abiola's finance commissioner. The certified public accountant just received his doctoral degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University in Ile-Ife, Nigeria. He is a native of the Iwo-Ate neighborhood of the Ogo-Oluwa local government in Oyo state.
