The sports body kept its vow to contest the decision the Disciplinary Tribunal issued in the case in August by stating X (formerly Twitter). "Last Friday (15 September 2023), the AIU filed an appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) against the Disciplinary Tribunal's ruling that Tobi Amusan did not violate an anti-doping rule for Whereabouts Failures, which was made on August 17, 2023. "Until the appeal is resolved, the AIU will make no further comments."
