MINISTER OF POWER RETURNS TO APC

Bayo Adelabu, Nigeria's Minister of Power, Rejoins the APC Nigeria's Minister of Power, Bayo Adelabu, has declared his decision to rejoin the All Progressives Congress (APC), marking a momentous political move. Having previously run for Oyo State governor under the banner of the Accord Party, his move represents a significant change in the political climate in Nigeria. Going Back to the Fold Adelabu declared his formal return to the APC in a letter dated December 6, 2023, which was written to the APC state chairman and party leaders in Oyo State.

On December 15, 2023, the APC Secretariat in Oke Ado will host this momentous occasion. Adelabu stressed the importance of the occasion and said he hoped leaders, local government party chairmen, and the state administration would be there. Reconciliation and Revisited Goals Due to disagreements over the state assembly and primary elections, Adelabu left the APC amid a time of internal unrest. But he ultimately decided to rejoin the party following extensive discussions with APC officials and national leaders.

 

 

During a polite visit to the national head of the party, this decision was disclosed. As an official in President Tinubu's cabinet, Adelabu anticipates a fruitful partnership with the APC. His motivation comes from his desire to see Oyo State under APC rule by 2027 and to carry out the president's Renewed Hope Agenda. Charting a Path for Oyo State Adelabu wants to rejoin the APC for developmental reasons in addition to political ones. Under the APC-led administration, he wants to spur Oyo State's historic progress. Adelabu's return indicates a fresh dedication to the people of Oyo State and a bright future for the area under the APC's leadership because his objectives coincide with the party's platform.
