It was a marriage of cultures, as Gbolahan Animashaun and Karima Kusow's traditional wedding took place on Saturday, December 16, 2023, at the Twinwaters Event Centre in Lekki, Lagos. While her spouse is Nigerian, the bride has origins in Tunisia, Somalia, and the United States of America. The Animashaun and Kusow families went above and above to make their kids' special day elegant and unforgettable. The wedding was incredibly colorful because of the blending of cultures; visitors came from all over the world to rejoice with the couple and their families, including Somalia, the US, Canada, and other European nations.

Marriage 2

Gbolahan and his spouse The exchange of the proposal and acceptance letters on behalf of the couple by representatives of the two families was a key feature of the occasion. Gbolahan mentioned during his speech at the function that he asked her to marry him on Christmas Day of 2022. "We met while I was still in graduate school in New York," the man stated. She was employed in the state of Washington, DC, at the same time that I completed my internship there.

After meeting, we immediately struck up a conversation because we both lived in the same area. Karima continued where her husband had left off, saying, "He proposed to me on Christmas day in 2022." Although everyone in the family knew he was going to pop the question, it surprised me nonetheless.

She mentioned that among the things that drew her to her husband were his kindness, intellect, thoughtfulness, and strong sense of ethics. Apart from their mutual physical attraction, Gbolahan continued, "She is a humble person who can hold a conversation." Having lively and fascinating chats with her was one of the things that initially caught his attention, in his opinion.

Yasmina, the mother of the bride, said, "I am ecstatic about my daughter's beautiful wedding today," expressing her happiness for the pair. Being in Nigeria and attending this Yoruba traditional wedding is a lovely experience. I believe that this headtie, makeup, and outfit are the most elegant ones I have ever had. In contrast to how Americans do things, I've found that Nigerians do things with a lot of flair and a hint of excess. But it's very lovely. I hope the couple has a lifetime of happiness and continues to maintain ties to their heritage.

Marriage 3

The bride and her mother. Mojisola, the mother of the groom, expressed her happiness and pride in Gbolahan's choice of spouse. "I pray that God will continue to guide him and his spouse. I hope they have a happy, spirit-filled life and have a lot of grandkids for me. For the rest of their life, they ought to be buddies. The pair thanked their guests and family members for taking time out of their hectic schedules to make their special day unforgettable, expressing their gratitude for the love they had received from them.

"I want to thank everyone for their love and for being here to witness and seal our union," Karima remarked. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone who has come from both families to be here today. "I would want to express my gratitude to everyone who attended, especially her (Karima's) family. I also want to express my gratitude to my extended and nuclear families. Gbolahun continued, "I hope my love for them is showing through. I love them so much."
